«Bentonite of Khakassia» Ltd. uses open-pit mining. Almost all mined bentonite in a wet state is activated with soda ash and dried. Bentonite powder is produced by milling in roller mills.

Production facilities of the Company procure processing of 438 thousand tons of bentonite per year in the following products:

• Activated clay – up to 335 thousand tons per year
• Bentonite powder –  up to 103 thousand tons per year
